Fear exists only because of one reason; we believe that we have something very important and the fact that we can lose it. The outcomes often result in nervousness, shivering and anxiety. It is not in the personality but in our minds. However, most of us believe that it is in our personality and we can't change it.
Fear of failing in examination is actually losing the promotion or scholarship. If we are certain that the failure in one exam will not affect our CGPA - we won't mind failing it. Job interview fears are only because we know the importance of the opportunity and if we fail to clear the interview we may lose the job. And the list goes on.
Hold on for a moment and think - Does it really worth your fear?
Have you ever lived a life when you have 'Nothing to Lose' ?
I mean so what if you're failing - so what if your cgpa is going down? So what if you're not getting the job?
Is it the end of the world? Certainly not! Let's face it - if you lose a job in an interview - you never had a job at first place. You didn't lose anything.
Life always give us a second chance - and then a third chance and then a fourth one and maybe a fifth one. We have our entire life to avail the chances than what is the fear for?
Why are we so scared in being brave? What makes us so weak that we cannot challenge the world? Just for once stand up in front of mirror, look into your own eyes, and say,

Never let your priorities be bigger than your ego. If you're positive and egoist than you will succeed no matter what. You will lose precious things only to get a much better version of it.'Main tou yeh kar ke rahoonga - jo ukhaarna hai ukhaar lo'
This coming from the man who closed his eyes when it was time for me to settle my side of the bet.
ReplyDeleteI started writing a reply to this where I was gonna say that fear doesn't come naturally to us but some thought while writing made me realize that it is. First and foremost Fear makes you obey. It keeps you honest in your actions.
I mean so what if you're failing(ITS GONNA TAKE ME A GREATER TIME TO PASS OUT) - so what if your cgpa is going down?(3 GPA is MUST CRITERIA FOR JOB and my FRDS hv it) So what if you're not getting the job?(MY PARENTS WILL FEED ME FOR LIFE)
Is it the end of the world? Certainly not!(TRUE BUT IT DOES INTRODUCE YOU TO HELL ON EARTH) Let's face it - if you lose a job in an interview - you never had a job at first place. You didn't lose anything.(THIS IS A REAL GOOD LINE WHICH I FIND REALLY HARD TO ABSORD vis a vis CRITIC.YOU LOSE TIME AND THE FEELING DEVELOPS THAT MAYBE YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH)
Life always give us a second chance - and then a third chance and then a fourth one and maybe a fifth one. We have our entire life to avail the chances than what is the fear for? (Afraid of the people really. Afraid that i will be left behind.A dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow)
'Main tou yeh kar ke rahoonga - jo ukhaarna hai ukhaar lo' (Like i had to bust your article and am pretty hopeful that i obliged)
Never let your priorities be bigger than your ego. (MY PRIORITIES ARE MY EGO Duh...)
If you're positive and egoist than you will succeed no matter what. (Be balanced and positive...not something that goes hand in hand really. PROS may not outweigh the cons)
You will lose precious things only to get a much better version of it.(REALLY? I am taking your degree on graduuation day!!! will see what better thing that brings to your life)
Just like to end by saying "DAAR SE AGAYE JEET HAI" which literally translates to fear brings value to your achievements
